A letter to reaffirm customers about standardizing consignment of dangerous goods

Dear esteemed customer,

COSCO SHIPPING Lines have always been devoted themselves to perform the responsibility of safe transportation of cargo consigned by customers with strict and professional requirements to ensure the safety of crew lives, vessels and cargo properties.

Recently, several cases of safety incident in the industry have been noticed, which were caused by substandard quality, stuffing and so on. We hereby remind again that the shipper and its entrusted party must abide by the consignment obligation, make sure that the consignment comply with our transportation policies, and shall not conceal, fake-declare, mis-declare, or failed-declare. If there is any violation of the booking agreement, they will be dealt with in accordance with the “Prevention and disposal measures for misrepresentation and Concealment of dangerous cargos of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd.”, and we will also reclaim all losses and expenses from the responsible parties in return, and reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility through legal means.
